At Pathways for Little Feet, our mission is to support families walking in faith toward adoption, but we are not a child-placing agency. This means we don’t match children with adoptive families. Instead, we come alongside families who are already working with a licensed adoption agency and have a completed home study. This is the first and most important step in the adoption journey.
A home study is a comprehensive review that prepares a family to adopt, evaluating their home environment, relationships, background checks, and readiness to welcome a child into their home. It’s designed to ensure the safety and well-being of every child and to help families grow in awareness and preparedness. Once this is complete, Pathways may be able to offer interest-free adoption loans to help families overcome financial barriers.
